Bell & Ross and Cortina Watch with Renault Sport F1 driver Kevin Magnussen

The Fr ench luxury timepiece brand continued to celebrate its collaboration with the Renault Sport Formula One™ Team by hosting a MEET & GREET session with the driver Kevin Magnussen at its pop-up store in Malaysia, together with Cortina Watch, as part of this two-month long campaign in the Suria KLCC shopping centre.

To usher in the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix, Bell & Ross, together with Cortina Watch, launched a Lifestyle Pop-up Store from the 1 st of September to the 31st of October 2016 at Level 1, Suria KLCC. Since the exciting official opening a fortnight ago, the Popup store has been showcasing a range of core collection watches, including novelties unveiled at the international watch and jewellery industry show BaselWorld 2016.

Kevin Magnussen was exclusively invited to an up-close and personal session with Bell & Ross and Cortina Watch VIPs, guests, watch and sports enthusiast, celebrities, media and fans at the KLCC pop up store this afternoon. Arriving to much cheer and excitement, Mr. Magnussen was posed questions by Deborah Henry, emcee of the day, chosen from posts by fans on Facebook in the weeks leading up to this session. Thereafter he obliged and thrilled fans with photographs and autographs.

At the Bell & Ross Pop-up Store, the limited edition collection of commemorative timepieces – especially created for the partnership – the BRX1 RS16, was given the spotlight. This collection was exclusively available on the paddock at selected Grand Prix and can now be found at the Bell & Ross Pop-up Store in Suria KLCC, as well as other boutiques and retailers

The BR-X1 RS16 watches, named after the team’s R.S. 16 race car for the 2016 Formula One season, were envisioned to be extreme versions of the watchmaker’s iconic BR01 just as Formula One™ racing cars are the ultimate version of a car. Crafted with materials such as grade 5 titanium and Carbone Forgé® – a high-tech composite material consisting of molded compressed carbon fibers and thermosetting resin – the BR-X1 watches are immensely light yet incredibly strong, built to withstand any impact a driver would face on the racing track. As a nod to the Renault Sport Formula One™ Team, both timepieces feature yellow rubber accents on the crown and rocker push buttons in the very same shade associated with the team.
