17.08.16 | DAY 1 : KLFW 2016 | Pavilion Kuala Lumpur
"A new spin on military chic with camouflage prints, feminine silhouettes and a khaki palette punctuated by bright pops of red" Elle Malaysia
Closing the first night of KLFW 2016, this show is dedicated to Tourism Night. A Local designer Rizman Ruzaini showcased a military cum Merdeka inspired collection that featured camouflage print, army green and bedazzled “1957” the year Malaysia gained Independence emblazoned across the backs of a couple of pieces.
Personally i feel that the first look is real Wowing! i am so impress on the fact that how RR able to create such a sexy military looks? the marrying of military and femininity is brilliant. sticking to green hue reminds me of their last year's Homme Collection (click here) where the green used was like more to Emerald or close to Teal yet this time, obviously its Army Green following the "The Malaya" theme.
Apart of the camouflage prints, the military vibe is being triggered with the army green shade, laces as well as the sequined detailing. a splash of red can be seen on the few pieces which adding the sexiness onto the garment.
Saree inspired is just another mind-blowing point of this whole collection. i'd say the one Tanuja is wearing already extremely gorgeous but this one on Tinie's is jaw-dropping! well should give a biggest applause to the way she struts the runaway. im no joking, she killed it!
No offence, this collection is the best! A massive congratulation to Rizman and Ruzaini for winning the Best Designer Awards for KLFW 2016 and yup Tinie for being awarded as the Best Model. indeed she rocks the stage naturally and sophisticatedly. you definitely should play below full runaway clip and watch until the end when she closed it with that stunning saree.
